    AWE boost gauge issue

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
When I'm driving in my car at night sometimes the lighting in my AWE vent boost gauge will cut out when I'm in boost but will turn back on after a few seconds. This has only begun to happen recently. The gauge still works but this on and off type deal is a pain. Anyone else experience this? TIA.

    Re: AWE boost gauge issue

Mine does that too. It starts off just being the top half or a quarter of the gauge that flickers, but will eventually turn out to be the whole guage. Mines so bad now, that while I'm driving it looks like I have a Christmas display flickering on and off in my car.

Is this the new gauge style we're referring to or the old one.

Sounds like loose connections to me, how are they wired? What connections were used? That's what I would look at first, check power and ground.

Mine's the old style as well. Hopefully the new style gauge won't do this when it gets installed.

    Re: AWE boost gauge issue

I spoke to John at AWE and it seems like the issue is a install problem. I checked all connections and noticed that the connection to power source (fuse) was a little loose hopefully this was my problem. I'll keep everyone posted on it.
