I am dissappoint in the selection of mounts for any of the gauges because if you don't have black interior you can't find anything to match. One color option = very bad selection.

and the column is dangerous if you have side airbags. Nothing like getting a boost imprint on your forehead in a accident!

The vent gauge can be dangerous too IMO. It is not located in your line of vision. Looking over to the right takes longer than just glancing down in front of you.

Podi is very clean and matches flawlessly. Especially the Sterwart Warner package.

Exactly. I guess a lot of people consider a gauge a bling mod because I can't see how you can use the vent gauge to help time your shifts so you can stay at peak boost while driving at WOT. Podi FTW!!! Picking mine up from Winston this week.

im still a big fan of the tiny digital boost gauge like the one a guy put in his rearview mirror. its small, stealthy, and u can velcro it to right below your trip computer.

I haven't started advertising this on here yet, but here's a couple of pictures of our vent gauge kits:

This is on a VW GTI, but we have it for the A4 as well. I need to get those pictures edited and uploaded.

    PM me for more details.

    thanks.

Re: Gauges. Vent Mount or Column Mount?

I just picked up my Podi from Winston and have to post to reiterate that this is by far the best gauge IMO. I haven't installed it yet but it looks great on his car, matches the instrument cluster perfectly and the position is exactly within the range of vision.

BTW, Winston is a great guy to deal with. I bought a Podi and a set of wheels he advertised locally that were better than advertised. I saw quite a bit of his CF pieces and for those who haven't seen it in person, it's top quality stuff. to Winston.
