so i just got a chip!!

So this afternoon my friend with a 2000 s4 6 speed had a giac chip decided to swap with my stock one since hes selling his car and didnt need it no more. So I drove it this afternoon a little and could def. feel the difference, but about a hour ago my brother got home from work and wanted me to take him for a ride. I get on the freeway in 3rd and take off I hit 4th and few seconds later I feel a loss of power (stock-like). I got off the next exit and right at WOT i feel the car wanting to pull then feels like stock. SO i got home and take off the tbb and discover about 3/4 of a inch rip by the clamp. I just wanted to know which it prob. is, is all this loss of power from the tbb? Because the loss is very noticable feels like its not even chipped no more kinda. btw i am ordering a samco tbb right now

lol... ok um ya dude its all from your tbb. go with an upgraded samco tbb, AMS tbb, or an apr bipipe. another stock one will just rip again.
