    mine stopped working, was cracked in half (casing) which i finished off, and the cable was unplugged, bolted down well, and vag'd SHORT TO OPEN. failed a year ago - no accidents.

    yeah mines bust. anyone selling one?

    there's your batteries that make mysterious beeps. 3.6V ni-MH (not li-ion!)

    i guess you could get a row of nimh AAA's and go to town
