When I first got my car I felt the same way, but now I rly like the unpainted lowers. I do think I need a few supporting mods to make the unpainted lowers work a lil better, like black roof, s4 door blades, black e-codes, smoked tails, new rims and a few other things. Also been thinking about pulling my fogs and putting the S6 LED Driven lights as fogs in the slits below the fog grilles and changing all the rs4 style grilles

It does, I have just put mine on, before painting, however it has a totally different shade of gray. It doesn't match the rest.

IMO, it's not the un-painted lowers; it's the boser hood. I hate them. To... ricey. But that's me. If it flips your switch, then by all means turn yourself on! And for my own purposes, I prefer show before go.

Should you be able to smoke and black-out bits here and there as you go (roof, rings, wheels, tails/sides, etc) the carbon would work great with the un-painted lowers as a contrast to the silver. It could turn into a cool theme. Kind of moo-cow.

Must say though... I really, REALLY dig on those mirrors. Thems are straight sex.

unpainted lowers with USP front... i think it would look dope.. theres an avant somewhere on here with unpainted lowers and its SICK! be different... and i think the car is very nice... the hood stands out way too much tho... for a stock car... myabe if it was lowered on rims... but yeah... keep it commin.. and keep them unpainted... see how it turns out.. from what i read... the unpainted usp front is the same color at the rest of the lowers... it just needs some time to color match i guess... like get dirty or something

I think it looks funny with a CF hood, no exhaust, no rims, no drop, no painted lowers.

But whatever, eventually it will all come together.

not too bad...but with additional mods your unpainted lowers can be made to look really good. just don't paint the roof black, it won't go with anything....

i like your hood though, really want one myself!

Actually the unpainted lowers would work out just fine if you put some black wheels on, which I'm assuming you are doing eventually because of the hood and mirror caps. I'm gonna have to go with unpainted lowers FTW on a special exception !

The other day when I was getting ready to watch Iron Man with a couple of buddies, I randomly parked next to a bone stock sport b6 in the same color (silver). One of my friends who does not know much about modified cars was tripping out because he thought I had a different hood. Upon his response, my other two friends said the painted lowers def updated my car, and made it look brand new. And in all honesty seeing my car next to that bone stock A4 with unpainted lowers made me so happy because mine looked so OEM ++ with the subtle aggressive look to it. Also now I am always getting compliments on my ride from random people. Most people actually confuse my car for an A6 (the non audi gurus) Back when I had unpainted lowers with rims and exhaust, not one person noticed it or gave any compliments LOL

But what intrigued me the most was that my friends saying I had a different hood, but I guess the combination of the 24.5" stance and painted lowers give a different look to it. =)
