K04?

I bought a new K04 off of ebay, but it's not the right one for my 02 quattro. Of course now the guy how sold it to me isn't responding to me emails. I'm probably just going to sell this myself.

I'm fairly sure that this is a K04 for a transverse A4. Can anyone tell from the pics below if it is?




My K03 is dead and I need to dump this thing ASAP!

I MADE THE SAME MISTAKE LAST YEAR AND ENDED UP RESELLING IT ON EBAY. i did however take a huge 50% hit though. one of those painfull lessons learned. i tried to get the guy kicked off of ebay but ebay never took any action "buyer beware" they said even though his ad is misleading innocent people. go to www.supremepowerparts.com for a decent deal on a k04. IMO

Is that the fake K04 that is sold for like $400? It's the right shape for the the longblock, what is causing it to not fit?

Good luck...sorry to hear you got hosed on eBay. Its become a dangerous place these days and I avoid it now.

thanks for the suggestions guys. I was hoping i would get lucky and find someone selling their used K04 on one of the forums. I haven't really seen anything yet though.
