    Re: bullseye power vs garret

I would go either Garretts or the Tials. The Tials are a ball bearing cartridge and custom compressor wheels that bolt right up to the stock manifolds and downpipes. You would need some serious work to the flange or the dps and mani for some other turbo to work. Even if they make one that works, l would not want to be the guinea pig to see if it works

Thank you. It took a while before someone answer my question. Look's like most of people don't know what's bullseye turbo is. Ohh well.

From what I see on their site, the smallest turbo they offer is 60lbs/min which is more than two GT2554R's combined.

Dosent any garrett turbo require serious work to the Exhaust manifolds, and DP's(flange)?

heh... did anyone read my message? Unless you plan on having twin turbos large enough to support 120+lbs/min (1000+ HP), I would suggest looking at smaller options (Garretts). You will not make full boost on their smallest "S200" with 1.35 liters...not even at 7000 rpm.

Garretts are becoming less difficult to install. GenX for example could put together a kit for you with dp's and mani's eliminating the need to make custom headers and dp's for some monster turbo

Nope not true. I just found the info from VAG motorsport. Let me explain. THe guy from boost-engineering was supposed to put some gt25s on my engine but he did'nt. He decide to install F...ing big bullseye turbos which is s200. He told me that it's like gt 28. So i was deapointed about this, so take the decision to go to vag for tuning. Alex at vag told me that bullseye are preaty good ballbearing turbo and have good spool up capabillities. He said he can custom tune my car, which is the only option, and easilly put 470 whp to the ground with this. But the waistegate are not well adjusted for now 10mm at 5psi. supposed to talk back with Alex tomorow to see how i need to adjust them.
So now you know why a started this thread. I could'nt find the info by myself so this is why i started this. Now i have info from good guys from vag, i feel more safe. here's the pics.

Alex from vagmotorsport told me that 300 series is about the same as gt30 and 200 series is about the same as gt28.

    Re: bullseye power vs garret

I dont know much about these turbos, but are they not rated at 60lbs/min like on their website compressor chart?

The size of the turbine and compressor are equivalent and flow equal to a GT3582R.

I think you will be very happy with those bullseye turbos. I agree their forte is the single turbo setups. But the wheel designs are very advanced.

Only tune will tell. I don't have choise now, no turn back. I could'nt fine a good tuner for this turbos here in Quebec, so i'll have to go to Montreal at VAG where i believe they are good n'ough for the tune. Hope it wont be expensive now that i throw more$$ than i was supposed.

Mike Z is an expert at tuning these cars now. 3 solid years of tuning and development with S4s on a multitude of setups. Plus some of the coolest fucking gadgets to help with the process.

Tell him and the boys at VAG that James Leroux/Bastard says hi.

Hey guys i need a little bit of your help.

As you seen on pics above, I'm still on stock manifolds. Looking to change that.
Does any of you have some pics of ARD Exhaust mani so i can compare too see the angle and height of the turbos with his manifolds?
It can be a different brand as well. I just want to see if there's a big difference or not so i can figure out if i can use them with little mods on manifolds or is it a no mans land.

I have to leave for now but i'll get back to you tomorow. Thank's for your input.
