a/c question

was driving home today when i noticed my a/c wasn't blowing any cold air. it just came back from the paint shop where they did some work on my bumper so its been a couple of days since i drove it. didnt notice it the heat when i brought it. any ideas what it could be? a leak maybe or do i need to recharge refrigerant? will vag'ing it help?

Could be that or the high pressure switch was disconnected for some reason hard to tell without connecting gauges.

Does your outside temp display an accurate reading?

for some reason my car doesn't have an outside temp reading.. maybe coz its a 95.. where would the high pressure switch be? tried vag'ging it before coming to work but i got an error saying too many communication errors when i tried to test the auto hvac module.

might be a faulty module then... that's interesting are you using a ross-tech approved cable or an ebay one?

^^^ I have an Ebay USB cable and it gives the same error.

I read for HVAC comms the Ebay serial version will work. The Ro$s Tech cable is what I really should buy.
