    another wheel thread...

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
So I have had my wheels now for about 2 years, and i am looking for some different style, however I just wanted some feedback on my current wheels. This car isnt a racecar, i will not be going with big turbo, or anything like that, its more of a daily driver than a race car... anyway...

ssssoooo what you guys think about these?

Chrome isn't really my thing, unless it's on say an Escalade or something.

    Re: another wheel thread...

Yeah, the drop is fine. Most purists aren't going to run a chrome wheel on a German car. If that's the look you want its cool. I've seen much worse. The rest of the car is very clean and understated so as a package it looks decent.

    Re: another wheel thread...

Dont worry about a drop. Thats not why this thread was made.

We are focusing on teh wheelz.

If you want to hear my opinion, I don't like them. I really think that there are so many better wheels that could be on our cars that I wouldnt have even bothered looking at those.

Im never going to say something like "you can't put chrome on an Audi"... because you never know when there will be some badass whip with chrome feet. It could be cool.

You asked if you should look for some new wheels. My answer is yes.

    Re: another wheel thread...

Your ride height is fine! in fact its probably a little low for a DD...

Personally not feeling all the chrome, what do you feel about painting the insides or even doing some pin striping on the spokes? (dark grey would really break up the chrome..)

Get some duct tape, cut some strips and see how it looks if your up to it.
