    Hey guys..

Well I have been dreading on this topic for a while.

i am looking at those Ksport coilovers, but all they have are A6 2wd coilovers. First my question is they had 2wd A6's? and second is that how is the 2wd different from quattro set up would I still be able to fit the 2wd coilovers on my quattro?

I have heard really good things about Ksport, some people here dont really like them.

    let me know.

    Re: Ksport Coilovers

wel... just to follow up some more on my research.. seems like they only make them for 2wd a6's.

So now I am just looking at springs. I have the 2004 S-line with 50K miles, so I am thinking of getting some H&R sport springs on my stock shocks. What you guys think?
I want to do this untill I save up for the 1300 H&R coiover set up.

    Let me know your thoughts.
I saw the pics Franka6 posted with his A6 s-line on eibachs, but i think I want to go lower than that.

    Please let me know.

Well first off , i wouldn't just get the springs, if you want the H&R springs, get this, http://www.awe-tuning.com/pages/shar...RBilsteinCombo

i almost got the H&R coils, but theres no way i can run them in PA, and im sure MD roads are bad as well, i wanted to go low, and even tho i have Konis and Eibachs, really the car still rides bad if you ask me, it rides good for being lowered but still bad, and if you ask Gigi, he had H&R , they hit pretty hard, but good luck! what color is your S-Line?

    Re: Ksport Coilovers

I am thinking some H&R springs on my A6 s-line to lower it 1.7 up front and 1.4 in the back (the H&R sport springs) untill I save up a little for the coilovers. Now.. I have this question.. H&R says the springs lower the A6 1.7 front and 1.4 rear, but that is for a normal A6 right? The S-line is lower originally, so my question is, would the S-line sink an additional 1.7/1.4 inches or would it sink a little to match what a stock a6 would be like lowered?

    Pleeaasseezzz!! help!

    Thanks,
    Paul

    Re: Ksport Coilovers

Lowering springs on stock shocks are a bad idea...your shocks go before you can blink an eye (been there, done that when I was 16yrs. old)
I'm running KW V1's in my Avant and they're fantastic, not too stiff, can go lower you than you ever want to.
I ran H&R's on my old Corrado, Fantastic...stiffer that KW's...
I've got Ksports to put in my 90' GTI VRT...haven't got a chance to run them yet...

    Re: Ksport Coilovers

Yeah.. imma hold off on the coiovers.

I'm just gonna get some springs for now, and stick them on my stock S-line struts. They only have 50K miles on them, and even if I blow them I'll either way be replacing this set up with coilovers by the end of summer.

So I am looking at H&R sport springs (1.7/1.5 drop)

    and the question now isssss........

"I am thinking some H&R springs on my A6 s-line to lower it 1.7 up front and 1.4 in the back (the H&R sport springs) untill I save up a little for the coilovers. Now.. I have this question.. plllease help!

    Re: Ksport Coilovers

They measure the drop from a non sport suspension. I know for the B5 the sport was 1" lower. Not sure about the C5? I think its 20mm, which is like .75".

    Re: Ksport Coilovers

Well I ordered those Sport H&R's yesterday.

I looked at FrankA6 photos and he had the Eibachs which drop the car 1.3 all the way around so 1.7 in my opinion should look great.

So now I got 2 things for it on order
    1. Hyperbooost diverter valves
    2. Springs

    and

    3. The guys that did my tint need to redo it...

The drop on this car... looks perfect to me... and that's like what I want to get (that much lower)
