How do I get the Downpipe Heatshields out ?

I'm trying to install dp's and I got the old ones out but I cant seem to get the heatshields out. I want to take them out because the new exhaust primary o2 sensor is in a different spot. Any ideas ? I don't really want to remove tranny brackets.
    TIA

Every time I have done them I had to make a cut on the top front of the heat shield where it wraps over the turbo, grab it from the bottom and pull like hell. Good luck!

Well if you are not going to reuse them just stick a prybar up there, bend them up and pull them out.

Ummmm, remove the EGT sensors, the primary O2 sensors, and slide them out.
