'Clicking' sound after Dice iPod Kit install

I just installed my Dice kit into my Symphony HU and everything works and sounds great, EXCEPT I get a 'clicking' sound from my OEM door-mounted RIGHT SIDE tweeters front and back. I tried a different ground; ensured all my plugs were fully seated; and looked for any obvious shorts. Nothing. The clicking is also volume controlled. The higher I increase the volume the louder the 'click' gets. It plays behind the music so on quieter parts of a song you can hear the annoying 'click.' Even when I 'pause' my iPod I can hear the clicking through the speakers. It goes away when I switch from my iPod to playing a CD or radio. Any ideas? A bad Dice harness maybe? Thanks in advance for any help or tips!

I've never installed one of these but I've done a fair amount with car audio. Is the kit grounded? If so i would try to increase the size of the ground wire or shorten the length of it.

I noticed the same noise on my left side tweeter. It's only noticeable if the volume's up around 18 or so and there's no music playing, as in between songs. I don't know what gauge the ground is, but it's about nine inches long and much thinner than the OE wires in the harness.

Thanks for the suggestions. I forgot to mention that I did experiment with my grounding wire. The Dice kit does have one. I alternated between grounding it to the HU chasis and to a couple of spots on the car chasis. I used a wire equal to or greater gauge than the kit ground wire. The clicking was identical regardless of where I moved the ground. It is annoying as hell. Sounds like a time bomb tick-ticking away! I Googled it and this isn't that rare especially among external computer speakers, but no cases related to Dice. Interference is coming from somewhere. I'll contact Dice and Enfig next week. Thanks again!

I just installed my Dice unit last week. The iPod cable sounds great - no noise. I have an XM receiver in the AUX port, and that sounds like ass - white noise and alternator noise. I ordered a PAC inline noise filter, and from the reviews I read, that should take care of it.

Do you think you need a noise filter?

Umm do you have RNS-E ... ? b/c i don't get a clickign raelly just a bunch of beeping and faint ticks - i guess sounds like clicking

that has to do with the harness and the radio never actually turning off - the RNS-E is actually still running once you get out of the car
    Now: RNS-E | Debadged | GIAC 1+

    Soon: Caractere front and sides | S4 Rear | S4 Doorblades | Bi-Xenon E-Codes

Future: GTRS BT Kit | Tip Tranny upgrade for BT Kit
