    Talking NEW LED City Lights!!!!

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
I received a set of LED city lights, with resisitors, from Buttafuco to test on my car. The install was VERY easy! Just unplug your stock light bulbs and plug in the LED's. Mount the adhesive back resisitors to the stock headlight casing. It was VERY VERY sinomle and I had both installed in about 20 minutes on my HOT S4. (I installed them after a long drive this this weekend and S4 engines do run pretty hot)

Anyway, Here are a few pics to show the difference. I personally love them and I have actually gotten a few compliments!

    Here you go:

    with the headights on:

*** Edit *** since these pics,I have had my car Vag'd to eliminate the amber turn signals as well. It made this look 100 times better!

They look awesome, as I expected they would. I'll be deleting mine altogether and keeping just the ambers. If I ever change my mind, I'll be getting these.

    Re: NEW LED City Lights!!!!

thought about doing that but only worried about resistor work since LEDs draw less power than normal bulbs. Are you getting an error message? do you have resistors installed? are the bulbs with resistors?

    Re: NEW LED City Lights!!!!

I do not have any error messages. This has been great so far. I will continue to post results after i have had them installed for a while so we can see how well they work.

I will post my results so everyone knows what they are getting themselves into.

As far as where I got then, on the B7 A4 forum, look up SN: Buttafuco

    Re: NEW LED City Lights!!!!

If anyone's interested, I'll be setting up a sort of group-buy here very shortly.

These are more than just resistors. They're also very well regulated and include protection against voltage spikes. I've also gone through the trouble of sourcing the OE sockets from Germany so there's no cutting/splicing.

Id' be interested for my B6 Ecodes. From your pics, it looks like they should be a match. What do you think?

If your b6 ecodes use standard W5W/194 bulbs...these will work great.

I've also just started taking orders on them for anyone interested: http://www.audizine.com/forum/showthread.php?t=198988
