That's what I've heard. Rev it just high enough (around 3k) and dump the clutch. If you rev it any higher it really damages the tranny and the clutch since the S4 is so heavy, and it has to get all 4 wheels moving.
What did you do in the vid? How high did you rev it?
I wasn't getting any wheelspin because my buddy told me to let out easy on the clutch and as soon as the car starts moving, then dump the clutch and floor it.
I really could not tell you the RPM, in time you can just feel it and hear it when it is right. On the street you can get that slight little spin. It will take some practice, I tried to do a quarter mile run on a drag strip once, I'll never do that again. The car hooked up so well it ripped three mounts, never again.
