    rear brake caliper

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
My driver's side rear caliper is seized up and apparently whoever did the brakes the last time screwed up the carrier as well because it is out of alignment and the caliper doesnt move freely. So i'm looking for a new/used caliper in good condition as well as the carrier/bracket for it. If anyone has one or knows where they can be found at a decent price i'd appreciate it. I've done quite a bit of searching with not much luck.

    Re: rear brake caliper

purems sells rebuilt calipers, remanufactured by Centric. I believe its $110. Its not listed on the website, but I bought it from them before so you just have to call.

Just my opinion, you might want to do the side with the ripped boot also, I was in a similar scenario as you before, Driver side piston seized, passenger side had a slight rip in the boot, but was fine...... few months later I had to replaced the passenger side caliper.

    Re: rear brake caliper

thanks, no wonder autozone consistently outperforms advanced auto. when i called my local store, they told me "don't have it, can't get it." and hung up on me. you think they would at least mention the website.
