There is one pretty good intake for the 1.8T A4, it's made by Audi and comes stock on your car.

if you're looking for the sound, the boosted tech one sounds really good imo. i have the EVOMS and forge 007, i love the sound but regret my decision, i should have just built my own. but i definately will not go back to stock.

and the DTH guys are very very helpful if you go that route, i for sure will do business with them again.

The lltek one sounds mean as hell. My friend got a really good deal on one that was being parted, which u probly wont find a used one but if ur willing to put up the cake for it then definitely get that. My friend has one on his b5 and he doesnt even have a muffler or exhaust but u can hear him coming down the street, as well as his stock DV. Every time I think about it, it makes me want one. I may do one this summer just for the sound. The $300 is worth it. My friend also claims though that he has better throttle response, which everyone with an open air intake does but its so controversial but there will be some noticable difference.

if you want to make it sound louder just construct a horn like the mk5 vw's use to amplify the engine noise lol.

    stock airbox FTW (w/paper filter).

the old S4/Allroad 2.7TT used the same size air filter and it makes alot more power than more 1.8T's
