How long did your stock battery last?

I have my original battery and the manufacture date is Apr 1998. I should probably replace it so I don't get stranded somewhere but I'd really like to find out just how long it's going to last

Just wondering how many people are running a 10+ yr old battery. Every other car I've owned needed a battery every two years. It's funny how many electrical gremlins our cars have yet the battery seems to go on forever

mine went last year so it was around 6 years old, and I didnt notice and issue with it but I had an electrical fault (clutch pedal switch) which they wouldnt fix under warrentee unless my battery passed their test.
