just repainted my badges black yesterday...it stands out a lot more than OEM chrome badges

What's process did you use to do this?

My buddy wants to black out his emblems. His method is to bleach them for 2 days which will strip the chrome, then prime and paint.

lol iuno bout bleaching but i took a lota time n patience sanding it with 100 grit and then 600 grit

3m double sided tape holds 5lbs of vertical weight! and its the same thickness as the stock ones too ^^

im gonna hopefully be doing this to my car soon!. i saw the group buy for just the rings and they want 90 bux!!!! Dam, i know if i paint them the same way i did my front rings it would come out looking the exact same and will only cost me the price of paint and sand paper.
