i just got a set of coils and want to be that low, but don't want to rub and want to be able to get over things if need be (speed bumps, driveways). Do you guys rub or scrape at all being that low?

i don't rub due to the tires and the streched look. However i scrape the exhaust in all the seattle parking garages and funky driveways. Since the car is settleing even lower i find alternate places to park

I don't scrape that often only when I am not being careful. Have to change your driving style a bit with a lowered car.

    Re: Low low low

Ok So Im runnin GrkA4's Old wheels which are 19 x 8's with 235/35/19's Custom made for this car. Im suspended on Vogtland c/o's with measurements 24.75" in the rear and 24.5" in the front.

I seem to rub a little when i turn with the front but not all the time. I also rub in the rear a little over long even bumps. There not hard rubs at all.

With custom wheels i thought i wouldnt be rubbin? Also with the guys that ride lower than me eg. 24",24.25 do you rub?

Can this rubbing issue wear my tires even faster? Maybe I'll raise it up a little..but it looks so damnnnnnn goooodddddd

Well the ride so far seems pretty stiff but bouncy at times. Its still in break in mode with no alignment so i havent been able to push her hard.

I will let u know as soon as i do my final adjustments and alignment is done.

Im sure it is just the break in. These c/o's are supposed to be alot firmer than the stasis/konis.

One thing that might sell you on this supsension is that there are lilterally a BREEZE to adjust. Took me 30 mins to get the ride height i wanted after install and im a very picky person :)

Okay, that's what I figured... and yes, I've heard the exact same. I'm also considering the "GT" setup from Startup Racing as well. Might be worth it, haven't decided quite yet.

However, I did not know how easy they are to adjust. Good to know.

Yah i heard about the gt's but dont know the difference. The last thing u want is to have to pull out the rear suspension and adjust the ride hieght. That blows.
