    Re: Suspension Question

H&R springs are pretty good and you would actually need to get shocks to go along with the springs because stock stocks will fail on you.

    Re: Suspension Question

I got bilstein sports and h&r springs from tire rack for $650. little over 100 each for the shocks. That's the best price I could find.

    Re: Suspension Question

I just picked up some FK Konigsport coilovers and they were about 1k. Coilovers seem to be the way to go to give you the best performance and adjustability (if you get the adjustable ones). I tried to start a thread yesterday asking if anyone has used these, but got no response. I spoke with the guy who runs my local shop and said that he has been putting these on audi's and VW's for a while and everyone seems to be very happy with them. Mine are getting installed on Tuesday (additional $350?) so PM me then if you want more info...

EDIT: Also just wanted to add that from what I have read, coilovers require some maintenance to keep them operating at peak performance. Does anyone want to chime in on what is required with coilovers as I have not yet done my research on this...

The only standing start, straight line racing I enjoy is on the way to the first corner.
