So I hit a HUGE earth size pothole in the middle of the interstate (which obviously im going after the state) but besides that, I totally crushed the living hell of my 19" wheel, cracked all over. I was doing 45mph. So, I put the 17" rim in place of the cracked 19" just so I can get home, now as soon as I put the 17" rim, this is the problem I started experiencing right away. When I start to drive between 0-20, the right front(the side I hit) starts to kinda wobble, feels like a wobble and then goes away after 20mph and then comes back when I slow down from 20-0. I went to the tire shop, took all of my 19s off and put all stock wheels and tires, checked the right side, and it looks perfectly fine. Control arms, suspension components... etc. Well now thinking, that I have all stock stuff back that I shouldnt get the wobble, I still do tho. What could it be, im hoping its my worn stock tire and NOT the car since I hit the pothole.
However, I just got some info from AWOT that is possibly might be a bent brake rotor which all the symptoms make to believe that it actually is the brake rotor, when I had the car on the lift today, I spun the wheel freely by hand and it made a very light scraping noise, like the rotor is rubbing against the pad. So that actually makes sense why it happens from 0-20 and 20-0 b/c at higher speeds, it spins to quick, that im not able to feel, if it were a suspension component, it would vibrate or wobble at all speeds. I think it actually is the rotor (crosses fingers considering I have 5 extra rotors) So i should slap on of them on tomorrow and move freely then and see if I get the wobble or scrape noise
