Ok i just want to know i got my rims but no tires yet will get them on friday. The rims are 18x8 35ET i want to run 245/40/18 on stock susp.

I looked at alot of posts about tire size and still dont what to get
235/40/18 or 245/40/18 when i checked with discount tire they said that i can run a 245 tire.

from what i hear 245 is too big... but thats when people lowered the car
you MIGHT be ok on stock but why push it?

I have an 04 2.7 on stock non-sport with 245-40-18 and they fit with no rubbing at all. If i remember the offset is 35.

    Hope that helps.

    Re: Will This Work.

    post pics already!!!!! :)

245's are typically ok on stock but I heard of this one guy who did have a rubbing issue on the inside, not against the fender... Depends on tires to, some are bigger than others.
What i can tell you from experience is that you will likely have rubbing if you lower especially wiht a softer suspension, i.e. FSDs/Eibachs
