For sale is the 2008-2009 North America Navigation DVD for the RNS-E. This is the latest disc for the RNS-E. It will upgrade your RNS-E to the latest software, software version 0260, and will have the latest map data available.

The best known feature so far is that it enables an Auxiliary port to be enabled in the RNS-E. The RNS-E can be coded with a vagcom or by your dealer to enable the port. The writeup to install the aux port can be found on navplus.us here:

You can make the plug yourself from parts from the dealer. This AUX port will allow you to plug in any handheld audio device into the car's stereo system. The newer Audi's that are rolling out (2008) have this AUX input stock.

Some of the features are also minor tweaks with map coloring and routing (ie Tunnels and underground roads have dashed outlines.). There is better route calculations and more choices as well.
