A little help = Rear Windshield question.

My Rear windshield needs to be replaced. I have a 2000 a4 2.8

the Shop told me that I can't use the a4 rear windshield but have to get the s4 rear windshield?

Which of course cost 50$ more.

Is he pulling a fast one ?

Crap I just want my car back on the road. Is what he saying the truth ?

Why would you not be able to use a window made for your car? Did he give you a reason?

Apparently being sick and sleeping can affect your brain.

What happened was they ordered a windshield pre-2000 hence the "fitment" issues.
