okay so i have an 05 USP and i live in florida... surprisingly i barely use my a/c because i love having the windows down. lately i have used it due to having passengers and started having an issue with my esp lil' triangle light coming on if i drive at a constant speed for about 30-45 mins with the a/c on... it doesn't always happen and there are no associated noises/driving changes.. just the light comes on and goes away when i turn the car off.. i'm sitting at about 55k and i just bought it so i'm not sure what all maintenance has been done on it. i did change the oil and about to change cabin filter/air filter, spark plugs, etc.. any ideas on what this is??

    Re: Esp = Wtf

Could be a number of reasons. One thing that I learned so far that caused my ESP light to sporadically engage is the brake light switch malfunction. If you haven't looked into this yet, I suggest to start with this. Simply check your brake light while cruising (night time would be best). Check your brake light while your driving (w/o your foot on the brakes). If it's lit w/o your foot on the brakes, then you got to replace your brake light switch...

Not a recall, just a common problem. Covered under warranty.

yep, sounds like its the brake light switch. Had the same problem and fixed and problem went away. Its a easy DIY. Part cost 5 bucks and its took 15 mins to replace.
Dealership wanted $100 bucks.... ya , right.....
