Need exhaust recommendation

I need an exhaust recommendation for my car. I have a 99.5 1.8TQ Auto. I have the PES T28 kit, Carbonio CAI, Stasis Street Suspension, borla v2 (2.25") exhaust, Level 10 tranny and VB upgrade, high flow cat. I'm guessing the Borla is a bit restrictive, I need either a 2.5" or 2.75". Also need a good place to buy it from at a decent price. Thanks.

I have a GHL 2.5" exhaust which flows very well but is a little loud for my taste. I'm in RI and maybe we could do a swap. The exhaust pops too which is something I'd miss since other exhausts don't provide that.

Exhaust will be expensive no matter where you buy it. Only way to save is if you buy it used.

^If you want a quieter exhaust, borla is not what you want.

Swapping is the cheapest and best alternative. As long as both exhaust systems are in the same condition.

I have a milltek but they are expensive as hell. I love it, it only gets loud when you floor it and i can still hear my turbo spool over the growl.

I wouldnt spend money to upgrade by only .25" but thats just me. i would trade with the other member since its an option or buy a highflow cat or testpipe with antifouler.

One solution is an exhaust shop. I spent $325-400(can't remember exactly) for a mandrel bent 3" full exhaust installed.
