Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car and oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car. Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall, torque is how far you take the wall with you, Body kits and decals are how much of a mess you leave on the wall.

    Re: oil in engine bay...

Covered under warranty, it depends on the dealership whether they're "mod friendly."

Either way, its a known problem (just had mine done last month), and they'd have to be jerks to say your mods some how caused it, and they'd have to prove they did anyways, which they cant.

^ Yes, go to your dealer and get that PCV fixed. There should be an updated version that doesn't allow the same problem to occur again.

You can buy updated parts from ECS or whatever and DIY. I went out of my way to find a dealer that I knew would be mod-friendly (APR+TP). I got a couple scratches in my fender for my trouble, but it didn't cost me cash.

get the eurojet pcv valve fix. It was designed for the MkV GTI which is the same engine as our with respects to the PCV. You can install it on our engines no problem, i did mine not to long ago because there was some oil in my pcv so before it got out of hand i swapped it out. its only 79 dollars!

PVC! Its all over the forum. look at the stick on common problems. good luck with getting the stealership to fix it. dont remove the oil or clean it or anything. it is the sign they use to detect if you have a problem.

Another vote for PCV. The car is going in tomorrow for PCV and service (fist time since I bought it). I'll let you know if I get any negative comments on the mods.
