so my local shop has a sale on APR chips right now.. i have an aftermarket extended warranty on my car and the shop said they could throw in 2 programs for free... one stock mode so i hold my set button on cruise control to get stock mode? anyone heard of this? and does it set your cruise control?? if so that doesnt really make too mcuh sence so i am jsut curious how that works...

also.. how many programs are there? if i jsut do moderate driving.. i use 93 gas.. sometimes like to cruise around corners and stuff... what would you suggest... i deffinetely want the delete so no-one can tell i have the chip..

please help me out.. what are you guys running? having luck with APR?

The shop would be able to answer the questions about how their product works as far as what the buttons do a lot better than a bunch of guys on the internet...


but as for APR, i've LOVED my tune....worth every penny....but you will be craving more power after you've grown accustomed to the newfound hp/tq

Changing between programs is done with the car off and with the key turned to ACC. It will not affect your cruise control. I love my APR and got it after a Revo trial that didn't seem to feel "right" for me.

i too have an aftermarket warranty, which is BS if you talk to those that have tried to make a claim, but I chose to go with a 91 and 93 octane program instead of the stock one. (Rolled the dice and my dealer already knows that it is chipped anyway)
