What's It Worth?

Hey guys, moving into a new house this weekend, and a baby boy on the way in September. Life is a changin'. Been thinking about unloading my Stage 2 S4.

Here are the specs. I love this car, but all of these cars require TLC, and a high tolerance (read: money). Two things I am not sure I can deal with come this fall when my wife stays home with the baby.

Maybe $12 - $14k tops. Is the TB and water pump done?

There's an 01.5 6-spd for sale right now with less miles and BBS CH's for under 13k.

If you waited for and found the right buyer, maybe you could get 13-14k. If you want to sell it quick, you might be at 10-11k. Didn't do the maintenance yet? You could dip below 10k.

No, all maintenance is done. Including rebuilt front suspension with all new control arms. Why aren't these cars worth more. For the sake of everyone's sanity, I won't mention what I owe on it. I hate that people have just completely unloaded these and dropped the value.

To tell you the truth, where I live, you can't touch a 2000 with 95k miles in a boring color for $13k. I would say where I live anywhere from $15-16,5. I would not sell that car for under $15k anywhere.

i say shoot for 16k honestly here in ny almost ALL the s4's were overpriced and stock with around the same miles with some without TB done before I bought mine a month ago.I had to go to new hampshire to get a deal. Honestly your car looks very clean and 15-16k really shouldnt be a problem. Plus you can always lower the price

You should post it on Craigslist in the Denver area. I recently sold my basically stock avant with 80K on the clock for $17.5 in 4 days. Just a thought as the Audi market out here seems to command a premium (which is why I flew to Dallas to pick up my wife's Q7).
