ATTN:REVO 550cc injector file owners with SAI pump removed

It has just occurred to me that I don't get a CEL for incorrect secondary air pump flow anymore ever since I got flashed with the 550cc file.

Have you noticed too?

I have the 8500rpm file and the 8500 file is only tuned for 550cc injectors and 3" maf housing with 1.8 sensor as per a phone call with revo usa this morning. That means there is no 440 file that runs to 8500rpms. They told me that I should not be getting a "MAF upper limited exceeded intermittent" code with this file since that code should be blocked/turned off. Shawn, do you have the 8500 file as well?

not to crap on revo (george is the man and the software is amazing!) but there's a few other options out there -- one of which disables all readiness checks so you always pass.. no matter what.

Isn't that file also able to run "mafless"?

Revo BT can be used without a MAF.

hahaha, good one Dejan... Doug, I got the file after a couple hundred miles into my last build. Blew the rod bearing about 10 miles down the road after I was rev'n to ~8100rpms.

Maybe it's not a file but they change the rev. limiter in the ECU. I sent mine directly to REVO for them to change.

Correct. Ecode is able to sell that file because they only offer the file to customers that they know to have a fully built head. Just cuts down the chance of the file ended up in some stock head car and the customer takes it to 8500.

Then why do I get a fault code for the MAF when Robin@Revo said that code should be blocked? He was supposed to respond to me and hasn't in the last couple days. Can the 440 file be tweaked to rev to 8500rpms or not? I know I shouldn't be getting this code with the 550 file after talking with REVO. Just trying to figure shit out. It faults at 10psi just the same as it would at 24psi... My max g/s readings are around 205 with the VR6 maf housing, 1.8t sensor and 550cc genesis.
