    New B6 Owner here...

Hey guys I just picked up a 2004 1.8 Quattro (black/black) with 32000 Miles for 15k. I just wanted to drop in and say Hi, and I am very excited about my new car.

I previously owned a 2001 A4, then sold it and got a 2003 Acura TL. Acura was great car, but just kinda boring. I feel the excitement back with Audi and looking forward to the coming weeks.

Any heads up I get will be appreciated. First I need to do is get an IPOD interface, from what I am reading Icelink looks like the way to go. Also I am assuming we use Mobil 1 synthetic oil? And premimum gas or mid-grade okay?

Welcome back to the dark side... and damn that is a pretty good price for 32K. Premium gas all the way and the oil is up to you, synthetic is a must.. happy driving and welcome to AZ..

I just got an '03, and my first "mod" was to install the Dice i-Audi-R for my iPod. I have the in-dash Symphony II changer, and the Dice unit works great - in-dash changer still works, too. I also have an XM receiver going to the AUX port in the Dice. Very happy with it.

Enfig. Very easy to install - just slid out the stock radio, swapped some plugs, and ran the wires. Right now the wires are ghetto - sticking out between the radio and the dash trim. I'm going to drop the glovebox this weekend and reroute. I'm also going to add a cigarette adapter from the fusebox and run it behind the dash so that I'll get switched power to the XM receiver without having to use the non-switched cigarette adapter in the dash.

One thing about the Dice - the controls are a little tricky, but I tend to leave my iPod on shuffle and just listen that way. If you're picky about switching between certain albums or artists, I suggest using the "Simple" mode so that you can control your iPod from the iPod itself, and not use the stock changer controls.
