My New S4

Not sure if this is the right place to post this or not, but here goes

Got it Thursday, it's a 2005.5 S4 manual with 40k

Already ordered a JHM short shift kit, Snub mount & AW#E gunmetal pedals.
Future mods will be: Coilovers, 19" gunmetal RS4 wheels, rear sway, maybe painted calibers, maybe stasis center diff, exhaust and other various appearance and performance mods, but nothing too crazy and all over time.

Sorry the pics aren't better, I'm gonna try to really detail it and get some good pics later. But so far it's an AWESOME car, and I'm loving every bit. I had a 325ci before, so this is obviously a lot more car, but I'm very impressed with it so far and glad to be part of the Audi community now!

Looks great - the RS6 style wheels really suit the B6/B7 shape IMO.

Nicely specced too by the looks of things!

I bought it at carmax in Birmingham AL, It was a 2 owner car and clean title. They listed it at $29,599 with 39,500k on it. I'm thinking that they might have misslisted it and priced it as a B6 considering this is pretty far below bluebook for dealer price on a clean car like this. Also I looked and there was a yellow automatic 2006 with 20k (yes i know this would be 20k less than mine and technically a year newer but the automatics usually go for significantly less) and at the time they listed it around $39,000. So I feel I got a really good deal, and they didn't know what they had

I love it and it's in great shape, obviously taken care of by people who knew what they had. Also over the weekend I had the 15% tint done and I also had a clear bra put on since I do a fair bit of interstate travel and with black the last thing i wanted was a lot of chips up front. I am a little disappointed with the gas mileage. But that's minimal in comparison to how great of a car it is and I knew that it was gonna be bad before I got in it. I'm getting about 20-23mpg interstate right now with cruise anywhere between 70-80.

Congrats on the new ride! I was a bit disappointed at first at my fuel economy, but I think that was just buyers remorse trying to get the better of me. You'll get used to paying $60 per tank every 10 days (at least I did).

Well done, man! The car looks great. You did get a very good deal on that, too. I've had my B6 S4 about a week as well - bought it in Birmingham, AL and drove it home to Michigan, and was wanting a B7 but couldn't find the deal you did.

Don't worry about the gas mileage; the fun factor of the S4 far outweighs the fuel costs!

Congrats...that is a ridiculously good buy. When I was shopping around, I also looked at B6 and B7 S4s. The cheapest B7 S4 I found was a 2006 with 30k mi for $32k. Blk, MT and Navi are a huge plus. Well done.
