There have been alot of posts recently regarding the B7 key fob on a B6 but i'm still a bit confused. I just purchased a brand new virgin B7 key fob from ebay and am curious to know if I can use the virgin chip that it came with or do i have to put my B6 immo chip in.

    Thanks!

Easiest? Swap chips, cut new blade. I have lots of issues with retrofitting the physical key and virgin chip is another story.
