everymorning when i start the car it has a bit of tug but the rest of the day its fine i just changed the battery around xmas alternater is fine no cel Maybe the spark plugs?

I had the same problem. There would be a slight jump when accelerating lightly after switching gears in the morning and then it would let go and accelerate normally. Cleaning my throttle body is what fixed the issue.

Edit: Ah, just saw you're 99.5 so you have the AEB with DBC. Cleaning the throttle body might not help you but you could try it. I have a 2001.5 with DBW.

no my car is drive by wire its just that when i first start up in the morring there is tugg when i crank it to start it not when im driving
