Well, don't quote me, but you can use this as reference to maybe help you on your decision.
i just swapped my '04 "sport" suspension to an '02 sport suspension and well...here are the differences.
The '02 sport springs (from a glance) are about an inch shorter than the stock '04 springs which clearly makes for a lower stance. The only upside, I think to getting those springs you are offered is that the 02 spring rates are somewhere in the vicinity of 350 ish? so its relatively soft and shouldn't have the bad effect on your stock shocks as some aftermarket stiffer springs might.
also, the front bump stops (the yellow things that go on the shock, inside the spring) are shorter than the 04 bump stops which also causes the car to sit lower. The rear bump stops are the same. So if you re-use the shocks and front bump stop you are basically guaranteed to have your car look like its launching off at a drag strip...except in freeze frame. AKA reverse rake stance. My car is a 3.0 and i got my suspension from a guy who had a 1.8t, so since the 3.0 is a heavier engine than the 1.8t, my stance is actually quite level all around.
All in all, if you really are on a budget, and you are getting a real good deal on those springs, i suppose you could combine the 05 shock and the 02 spring as a temporary solution. While in the meantime look for a complete '02 suspension being sold in the classifieds.
After swapping the suspension, with my 19inch RS4 reps, i have a 2 finger gap in the front and a 1.5 finger gap in the rear (it was only 1 day so the springs should settle a bit more and go lower) So the '02 IMO is your best bet for going as low as you can with OEM parts
Hope this helped you somehow
