FS: Brembo Calipers

used black brembo 4 piston front calipers (left and right) off 2000 Porsche 911. They can be mounted to pretty much any car with proper adapters. they are in decent shape but have some slight scratches. they do come with all the clips and springs. asking $450 shipped

Are you selling the carriers as well? If these will fit a B5 S4 they should fit a B6, do you have a link to the adapters?

just to clarify this im just selling just calipers. the picture shows those calipers mounted on b5 a4 using custom machined brackets over b5 s4 rotors. brackets are not included in this sale, but if anybodys interested i can possibly have some of those brackets made if theres enough interest

let clear this up a little bit. heres some info taken from bira.org.

those are the list of setups you can run using those calipers im selling.

System 2

Uses the Porsche 996 Carrera 4-piston monobloc caliper over the 2000 Audi S4 321x30mm rotor. We have solutions to fit the '92-97 S4/S6, A4, A6, 1C, 2C(1), 5K, UrQ, '92-'94 V8Q(1), VW Passat. Requires 17" wheels minimum.

System 2 for the B4 S4, A6 2.7t, and B6 A4

Uses the Porsche 996 Carrera 4-piston monobloc caliper over the factory rotors for these cars, and any cars that uses the same brakes. This design will fit under the factory B5 S4 17" wheels.

System 2 for UFO-equipped Vehicles

Uses the Porsche 996 Carrera 4-piston aluminum monobloc caliper over a Mercedes-Benz V12 320x30 rotor. Fits all UFO-equipped cars, and should fit under some factory 16" wheels. Completely bolt-on, no modifications to the struts required.

System 3

Uses the Porsche 996 Carrera 4-piston monobloc caliper over the European A8 314x30mm rotor. Fits the '92-97 S4/S6, 2C(1), '92-'94 V8(1). Fits under 16" wheels.

System 4 - DISCONTINUED

Used the Porsche 996 Turbo 4-piston monobloc caliper over the European S8 323x30mm rotor.

How did you get the paint off the calipers so it looks red?

paint them with red caliper paint

I have porsche calipers from ECS. These were painted black over the original red. The black paint is pilling and showing the original color.

On the 2nd picture i thought that bottle was a paint thinner (maybe it's just brake fluid) and thought he removed the black paint off. Anyways... I'll find out in somewhere else.

its cool, i think porsche used identical calipers in their porsche boxster s models except they were were painted red. so i guess in your case ecs probably used boxster s calipers and repainted them black.
