What is the lowest offset on a 18x8.5?

What is the lowest offset anyone is running on some 18x8.5's? I know the OEM RS4 19x9 et24's wont work, but what about an 18x8.5 et25. I don't want mad poke or stretched tires.

I won't be that low and will be running a 235/40/18. Any pics with the CH & spacers?

Re: What is the lowest offset on a 18x8.5?

    Here are a couple...

    18x8.5 ET35 running 235/40 18. 8mm spacer rear, 5mm spacer front.

    18x8 ET33 running 225/40 18. 8mm spacer rear, 5mm spacer front.

No rubbing on the street with either setup. For suspension I'm running Stasis SLs with the standard A4 600 front/1000 rear spring rates. Will be replacing with 700/1100 springs in the near future.

    18x8.5 ET35 running 235/40 18. 8mm spacer rear, 5mm spacer front.
My original reply was referring the front wheel offset only as it is most important.

With the 5mm spacer you are at ET30 as I mentioned. A 235 is as wide as you can go with minimal rubbing. The 225 is a bit safer.

Didn't see that mentioned anywhere in your post.

Actually with the black wheels I'm at ET28 in the front since they are ET33 to start with. Again, no rubbing, and I've run a 235/40 on that wheel as well.

I'm now running the 8mm spacers front and rear with the CHs without rubbing.

I run 255/35s on the CHs at times without rubbing, so it's really a matter of testing what fits and what doesn't.
