Mothers day present. This Acura TL fell victim to a son who decided to wash her beloved car with a green scotch bright pad and sponge combo. Upon first inspection i was actually quite worried that he had scrubbed through the opal layer in the clear coat. The vehicle had a heavy layer of embeded dirt and grime making it almost a cream/toupe opal. Instead of the bright white of the areas he scrubbed off.
It was pouring out in the morning; I did not have an opportunity to take before pictures of the whole car. I had pulled it in, Washed it with ONR and then clayed it. After taping I proceeded to take these before shots. The areas with no shine are the scrubbed areas, not dirt. You can see here some of the initial color cast (taupe) of the car.
I need to give props to my wonderful light holder, mike. He does an excellent job. He wants you all to know he is available for birthdays and batmitsfas
