DTM Skirts on S-Line question.

Has anyone installed just the OEM DTM side skirts with the S-Line setup? Pics?

I'd love to have a subtle side skirt without having it's lines be excessively lower than the S-Line bottom body line. Make sense?

Here is an example of the the DTM kit for reference. This car has the front DTM bumper. (And if I'm not mistaken there is not a DTM rear for Avants. And looking at the lines, from back to side, things line up well.)

Hey those are old pics of my car And I'm running the Votex rear valence w/carbon fiber insert.

If I'm not mistaken, my dtm front bumper sits slightly little lower than an sline bumper. Probably because of the splitter. Irregardless, I think it should line up fine with sline front end. Oh and pricing is right around $5 bills for the skirts.

Yeah the price is fair. 250 a skirt and then tack on install. Not too bad.

I also wondered this. I just got my car back today and from a sideshot of view, the front looks lower than the sides. How are the dtm side skirts installed..does it replace the stock skirt or a piece you put over the stock skirts?

Replaces the existing skirt. Gotta remove the scuff guard and undo maybe 12 - 15 or so bolts then it snaps off. Not too bad. But when you pull scuff guard the snaps tend to break so you may have to buy new ones. At least thats what I did.

If I'm not mistaken the DTM skirts are the same as the Votex sides! It should line up perfectly with the S-line or the non-S-line with Votex splitters.

I think DTM and Votex sides look identical but i might be wrong....

Yes, they're indeed the same. I've installed them recently. They replace the oem ones and they look great. They don't look too good together with the s-line flares though!

Wow man, I never thought I'd hear someone bring that up. Good question. I'll perpetuate the thread jack to my own thread haha. They dissolved a long time ago if I recall correctly.

These two cars were the end-all-be-all cars for me back in the day. And to think dudes have problems with Angel Eyes on this forum. ;)

When you replace these sides, do they bolt back up to the existing holes or do you have to glue these on like Reigers?
