    More bass from stock bose system??

    Hey guys,

    Well first day with my 04 2.7T S-line... I am wondering is there any way to get more bass out of the stock bose system? I heard there is like a way to get more out on the A4, but searched and cant find anything for the A6. My bass is turbned up all the way to 6

    Please help.

    Why would you do that? I presume there's also subwoofer in trunk, no? (C5 has it, stock) Maybe not hooked up?

    There is only so much pressure that can be generated by the little cone in the stock Bose system. If you really want eardrum blasting, long term deafness abilities you will need a bigger box with bigger drivers.

    Get an RNS-E lol Before the upgrade I thought my sound system was horrible, now it sounds so much better, bass is great, and goes louder than symphony II.

    just add aftermarket amp and sub and you'll be set ! but there is no way to get more base out of stock Bose sub....there is the thread how to use equalizer on symphony if you search, factory is set on 5 but you can go up, but then be carefull not to burn the system...good luck
