    Re: P0116

on the 2.8 its sort of under the MAF near the throttle body

if you look under the MAF near the back of the engine you should see a blue/green top fastened in place at the end of a metal tube

change it before you get stranded, dont forget a new oring

btw purems.com sells it for less than $20 iirc

    OC-Drop,
thanks man didn't know there is the right instruction with right pic.
so I got the o-ring and sensor. even though my CEL went away but replacing it anyway since it's got
about hit 150K miles. and looks like gonna have to do it tomorrow.

next I guess to have trans oil/filter change and have independent place check the axle etc.

    Re: P0116

I forgot to say you might need a new clip for it as well =)

always good to change before it goes completely bad... it stranded me on the way home once... it was a whole weekend ordeal that sucked!

    Re: P0116

yeah shouldn't be that hard to remove the clip without breaking it. my hands are small enough to fit that space without removing duct I tried but engine was hot... but able to to pu my hand in there.

well just update, I was able to take the clip from harness and take connectors out. but had to stp it was still hot!

so will see how it goes tomorrow.....

    Re: P0116

I was able to do it but man it was tight squeeze to put both my hands in there and trying to put clip back on.......
but man what a difference with new sensor... I guess it was bad to begin with, it's running much better than before...
thanks for the info to OC-drop.
