    Door Handle Covers

My driver side door handle cover has been loose. I tried a quick fix with some epoxy around the tabs in the 2nd pic, but it gave after a couple months. Does anyone else have this issue? Every time I close the driver’s door the cover rattles (which reminds me of the sloppy jalopies I drove in high school every time I close it) and I really hate the whistle/chatter it gives @ 80mph+

I’m trying to figure out how to remove the cover. Does it pop off from the top? I’m stuck at work with some free and alone time and figured I’d tackle this while I’m on the clock.

    Re: Door Handle Covers

When I finished my sub enclosure... the ONLY thing on my car that rattles is the driver's door handle...first thought..."this is a stupid f**king problem to have"

I'd love to hear of a fix...

    Re: Door Handle Covers

Well here's how you remove the trim.

As far as fixing the "loose-ness" I'm still working on that. I'm thinking of bending the bracket a lil bit to firm things up. Will post update...

    Re: Door Handle Covers

Well I fixed it. I took enough pics and the results kicked enough ass I'm going to put a lil DIY together in it's own thread.

    Re: Door Handle Covers

The DIY is up. It took 10 times longer to write it up then to perform the procedure
