shudder/hesitation

since about friday the car willl shudder/hesitate at random times. Doesnt seem to be related to boost. Holds steady at around 15psi WOT (EPL tune)

here is the story thus far:

friday have bad shudder over 10psi. normal driving okay. Replace spark plugs (one was loose and even had the top part broke off!!!!!). that fixed the boost issue and shudder for a lil while.

took the car to futrell yesterday, got new plugs, vag-com it. Misfires on 6 consistently. swap coil pack. still misfires.

doesnt appear to be boost related or load realted. sometimes it happens at a light when im just idling. will happen for about 20-90 seconds, then go away regaurdless if im moving or idling. car shakes pretty good. Dean was in the car and logging when it happened, and i think cyl 1 had misfires also but i dont remember.

anyways, its in the shop now, and they are going to try to replace the injector. we tried replacing/switching everything else and still misfires on 6.

and getting aux water pump swapped cause its leaking....

and here i thought i got off with just swapping the plugs!!! ahahahah

Replace spark plugs (one was loose and even had the top part broke off!!!!!).

top part as in terminal nut (where coil slides over) or top part as in electrode side? if electrode side you might have a bent valve, causing the hesitation and poor performance.

any chance cylinder 6 (one misfiring) is the one that had the broken plug?

it isnt the cyl with the broken plug, and it was the elctrode side.

i would have a compression and leak down test performed.
