    Custom Tuning a GT2X Elim

Forgive me I'm sounding foolish, but I've searched and can't really find anything.

I'm looking at EuroCode's GT2X Eliminator turbo and hardware for $1200

Now obviously I'd need tuning to get the power out of the turbo and I already have 380cc injectors. Now here's my question.... I've tuned other cars before (supercharged tiburons to be exact) and the lemmiwinks software is even better to work with. Am I correct in thinking that I can install a wideband in my car and measure my boost/rpm/air fuel mixture and then use Lemmiwinks (or similar) to achieve the appropriate Air/Fuel Ratio?

I would put the car on the dyno... start by adding plenty of fuel so as not to lean out, then start increasing boost and adjusting the fuel until I've reached my desired numbers.

    Am I missing something here?

Did you check the B6 DIY section in the Turbo sticky thread at the top? There are some downsides to that Turbo.

But sorry, I know nothing about tuning.
Upgraded the motor a little, brakes a little more, and suspension a lot.

^^what he said, problem is that they are oil cooled rather than water cooled! so they tend to have a shorter life span!

Skip, go for the GTrs for a little more money and you end up with even more power. You will want a tune for that larger turbo to get more out of it, the lemmiwinks tweeks only allow you to change the fuel/timing across the board not the curve.
