    Re: sluggish 2.7

Could be a vacum leak or bad bypass valve, did it make any noise when it reached 4k rpm, like escaping air or something??

leak...? I had that same type of issue and one of my intercooler hoses was popped off. ut leaks could be in a thousand diffferent places and not sure whic could cause this specific symptom. The intercooler was the pb for me

    Re: sluggish 2.7

So after driving like an ass on the way home...it turns out to only happen sometimes, I couldn't hear any out of the normal sounds. I will change the plugs today. Is there a DYI on changing the fuel filter?

    Re: sluggish 2.7

Check your TBB, I recently had this same issue (thought it was an IC hose that popped off or the like), finally found that the TBB had somehow slipped off on the bottom portion.
