VAG help plz

i bought a vag cable off ebay for like 20 bux, and i finally got it. so i decided to hook it up and try to do the remote window thing, but had no luck... when i tried to click on the convenience thing it kept saying 'no response from controller'.

i first went to options and selected the com port and tested it, then saved. then clicked select, then convenience thing and after a couple seconds i got this..


then i clicked on the ODBII and after a couple seconds i got this...


can someone help me with this? did i get the wrong cable? or do i have the wrong software?

try changing the setting to " run as administrator"
