So I tried searching but found no answers. I just did a turbo swap and in the process found my tie rods were installed upside down by previous owner. WTF?? Well I switched them around and now both of my wheels are pointing in MAJORLY Both are pointed toward the center of the car like the wheels is turned halfway. How do I fix this??? I need to know how to adjust the tie rod??? PLEASE HELP! I have not driven my car in a month.

if you changed the tie rods you need to get an alignment.

you should be able to turn some nut towards the base of the tire rod to change the length.

There is a lock nut on the tie rod end, which you can loosen. Then you can screw the tie rod end clockwise to go into the tie rod, or CCW to go out toward the wheel.

    Re: Tie rod help.

Thanks guys. I ended up removing them and replacing them. What a pain in the ass they are to remove. Here is a tip for you guys, 2 pipe wrenches come in real handy when removing old tie rod ends.
