Over the weekend I got the check engine light on my dash. I went to autozone to get the code read and it came back as P0420. Anyone know what this is. The told me it might be the o2 sensor. Any ideas?

P0420 is a bad catalytic converter.

    Re: check engine light

thanks for your help guys. I'm gonna give the dealership a call tomorrow and have them check it out. Only problem is that the code was cleared by the guys at autozone. Do I have to wait for it to pop back up or is it stored in the computer?

If you cleared the code its gone. Gotta wait for it to come back. The dealership won't do anything without a code or CEL.
