I have the stock 15's on my '03 quattro. Would it look ridiculous to install an OEM sport suspension before I get new rims (which might be a while)?

    Re: lowering advice

i think you'll be fine. i always think suspension before wheels is good order. i'm running the stock 17 five spokes and i'm pretty slammed (at least a little tucked all around) and i love it.

Old pic, nappy tires, but gives an idea. Don't get me wrong, I still want rims, but I don't think it looks bad as is.

Definitely get your drop before rims. Aftermarket rims + stock suspension = FAIL. I learned the hard way

    Why would it look ridiculous?

Remember that the stock sport suspension consists of more than just springs and shocks. You also need the sport sway and the strut-tower bar if you want to get the handling right.

I just didn't realize how much rubber and how little wheel I had - didn't know if lowering would make the rubber stand out that much more.

But - after the pics and advice from you guys - I think it's a winner. I appreciate the replies. Now, if only one of the people selling their sport susp. would freakin PM me back...
