Where did you put your right balast?

I just got the vvme 4300k kit for my fogs and they look great. I used the diy how to for the left side (zip tied to one big pipe above and a tiny pipe on the bottom) I'm not sure how to attach the right side. PICS!?

the diy said you could use double sided tape but i didn't think double sided tape would be strong enough to hold the balast

double sided tape and tape it on ur fender inside the hood right near ur light!

I bolted mine to one of the holes that the bumper shock mounts into.

I used a couple of these clamps

and attached both of them to the tube that the bumper attaches to.

but i have a 3.0 i dunno if the space is different for the 1.8t due to the intercooler

3M tape doesnt seem secure enough for me.

My foglight ballasts are attached to the bottom of the bracket that holds the bottom of the headlight, screwed directly to it. They are tucked away nice and tight, out of sight.

kind of ghetto, but i've got zip ties holding my ballasts to my headlight washer assemblies. I did this because it was easy, and also would allow the whole assembly to come out with the bumper if I need to pull it for any reason.

ok I have my right balast bolted down. I drilled through that support to the left of the light.

-- whats the bulb size for the headlights? I'm going to order another kit for the headlights!

if you got OEM HID headlights i believe you have D1S.
